IS THE CONNECTION RELIABILITY GUARANTEED BY QUICKSTREAM? All video connections between users are direct connections.
Quickstream Nodes are connecting over any existing IP network. This can be a local network or public Internet. It means that Quickstream infrastructure is not in the media path and has no influence on the connection bandwidth and reliability.
Quickstream is using a very robust industry-recognized
SRT protocol. It is designed to overcome network related problems that might occur so the connections are reliable and stable. In the future, we are planning to add proxy functionality. In case the direct connection cannot be established
(usually because of firewalls) Quickstream Nodes may connect over proxy. We are also working on building
a Quickstream CDN service that will allow our customers to distribute high-quality video feeds with support and Service Level Agreement (SLA).
