Imagine there is a broadcaster who wants to deliver professional, high-quality live content to multiple locations across the globe. The traditional way to do it requires the configuration of satellite uplink or dedicated IP lines. Recently the emergence of new modern protocols such as RIST or SRT also allowed the public Internet to transport live content in a reliable and secure way. All those methods require configuration on the broadcaster side (sender) as well as on the partner side (receiver). Connection details like IP addresses and ports need to be distributed to all locations/partners and all connections are statically configured on sender and reception devices. There is no easy way to manage access and all changes in the configuration require technical staff.

Quickstream Protocol allows to completely eliminate the manual process of connection configuration, establishment, and management. Once the sender adds a virtual channel in Quickstream Cloud and assigns the stream input, the live feed can be shared with a single click of a button to any other user in Quickstream Cloud.
